The ANGELS Hair Design group was founded in 1999 by Scottish Hairdresser of the Year (2006, 2007,2008) Tracey Devine, with the flagship salon residing in the popular St Andrews Street.

Following the success of Tracey’s first salon, Tracey opened a second at the Nuffield Health Club in Justice Mill Lane. So successful have the two salons proven to be, that the original flagship has recently had a complete refurbishment and now offers double the space to afford clients the utmost luxury.  Having concentrated on creating impressive tresses, Tracey Devine also realised a niche in the Aberdeenshire market within the beauty sector  therefore opening the doors to a superior beauty spa THE RETREAT, in 2008.  2009 finds Angels expanding to a further salon acquisition thus expanding the award winning foothold throughout Aberdeenshire.

ANGELS salons are places where the customer can feel at ease and welcomed, whilst also being amongst a vibrant group of individuals, buzzing with energy and enthusiasm. The teams continually undertake regular training and are constantly on the ball with the latest trends and techniques to offer their clients. The salons are also extremely successful due to the fine example that Tracey Devine sets for the hairdressing industry by really encouraging the next generation of talent to shine. Tracey’s team have achieved a whole host of award wins, plus partaken in their very own photographic collections and show experiences, such as the Fellowship for British Hairdressing F.A.M.E. Team, Project X,  and the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards, Scottish, Salon Team and Newcomer categories.

Apart from securing the title of Scottish Hairdresser of the Year for three consecutive years in recognition of her hairdressing skills, Tracey is also an astute business woman having been in the finals of the British Hairdressing Business Awards – Business Director for two consecutive years alongside Creative Head ‘Most Wanted’ Business Pro the list of other merits too lengthy to mention.   Regionally, Tracey has been nominated for several awards including the ‘entrepreneur of the year’ title in the Scottish National Business Awards 2009.

It is thus because of this, and the hard work that Tracey’s entire team put into running the salons, that the ANGELS salon group was recognised and awarded in 2005 with the coveted title of ‘Investors in People’ status.
